North Country

March 25, 2006 / by Bookworm

We watched the movie NORTH COUNTRY tonight. It was a very disturbing movie. I find it hard to believe that those men could have been so cruel, heartless, nasty and immature. The movie was suppose to have been based on a true story. I find it hard to believe that sexual harassment like that actually takes place. It made me angry and upset to watch it. Think I'll try a comedy or a romatic movie the next time I feel like watching a movie.

As I said in my first movie post I love Charlize Theron but I didn't like North Country. I was more interested in the Francis Mcdermond(?) story but didn't find any of it that involving.
And yes that kind of harassment still goes on and in 'blue chip' companies also

Comedy or romance is always my first choice!!..irrespective of mood..It's always easy to disturb or sadden a person rather than to make him laugh

You are so right about that, I love to laugh and a good comedy takes care of that. They say laughing is good for the liver![SMILE]
