Recipe

November 3, 2005 / by Bookworm

I thought I would take Blogdreamz suggestion that we who are tired of cooking same old thing post one of our favorite recipes. So here is one of mine. With Thanksgiving coming up, we'll have plenty of left over turkey, so here is recipe to use some of that or you can use chicken too. I like it be cause it is easy to make, you don't have to cook macraroni and can be made ahead of time.

Buddy's Overnight Chicken:

7 ounces macaroni (raw)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cups cream of celery soup
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese (cubed) - You may use cheddar
or other mixed cheese.
1 small onion diced
2 cups cooked chicken or turkey (cut up)

Mix all together. Cover and refrigerate overnight. When ready to bake mix well and pour into 9x13 pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Top with crushed potato chips. (I use cracker crumbs)
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Since I am spending Thanksgiving alone this year (by choice - no pity) I think I might try it as a vegetarian version!
    Thanks for the recipe! :)

this has nothing to do with cooking, but wanted to let you know that I just almost beat Zuma. I made it all the way through level 12 and then hit some crazy space level. It is crazy!!! I lost it then and had to go all the way back to 12. So the space must be it. Maybe I will get there again soon.
