Too Cold

November 26, 2005 / by Bookworm

It's cold and we have snow on the ground, but at least it is sunny. I got away from nonfiction for awhile and am reading an interesting novel, THE ICE QUEEN, by Alice Hoffman. It's about a girl who was struck by lightning and heard of a man that was struck by lightning also and was apparently dead for 40 minutes, so she goes in search of him. It is quite different from other books I've read and I am enjoying it. Must go and do some housework, especially some dusting!! Then this afternoon I can maybe finish my book.

That sounds like a good book, one I would be interested in. Let us know how well you liked it when you finish it.

Thanks for your comment this morning. I am trying, but this is an adjustment. That sounds like a good book. Maybe you could write a synopsis once you finish it.

I really need to start picking up some of the books that you read. Most of them sound so interesting. :-)
